oh, doctors.
Jan. 11th, 2011 10:45 pmgot mmr shot. hurt enough to make me randomly say ow for several minutes.
i don't think i like my new gp. twice i've seen her, twice she's explained about how i ought to lose weight. i've explained about how i don't want to hear about it and haes once. if i were in a doctor poor city, i would probably fight with her some more, but i'm not! so i won't!
second doctor's appointment was with someone who finished her residency last year. uh. let's just say that was not the most comfortable exam of that sort i have ever had in my entire life. ow. i have no idea what she was doing with that speculum to make it hurt like that.

Date: 2011-01-12 01:46 pm (UTC)As for your first doctor, what a nitwit. It's not that hard to put a note in a file. Or if you disagree, tell the patient that so they can go somewhere else.
BTW what is haes?

Date: 2011-01-17 02:03 pm (UTC)i do have a health history that lends itself to where losing weight is often a sign of a good thing, but not always. i hate when people -- doctors, acquaintances -- congratulate me for losing weight that is due to illness. and i say that despite the fact that i want to lose weight -- or maintain the same weight -- but do more with it, if that makes sense.
