yup, it does. We just get the super nifty expandable cut tags over here. Ahhh, I love them.

It did cut it on LJ also. And even let me click through on LJ to see it. I was kind of expecting the cut to not work.

As you found, you can either use the LJ code you know and love, or you can get lazy with the keystrokes and do <cut text=""></cut>. :-)
