I sympathize. I have right-wing fundamentalist Glenn Beck-quoting relatives on Facebook. Well, not just on Facebook. Unfortunately they also exist in the real world.

This is only one of the reasons I have little to do with most of my family, but it's a big one.

Besides Zuckerberg's privilege skewed view of privacy, the other reason I killed my facebook account were the score of acquaintances from high school who used their status updates to ascribe Jesus as the source of everything from their morning bowel movement, $TEAM winning a game, or not dying that day.
