josie isn't doing well. she's on a new medication, which we're hoping will help with her appetite, but the vet is not hopeful at this point.

if you were local and wanted to come over and see her, sooner would be better than later.

in differently non-cheerful news

had a dream last night where i was trying to explain to someone about how i felt about being a woman in a technical job. first of all, i put up with a fair amount of sexist shit. second of all, i love my field, i love the tech, and mostly i like the people i work with. and whoever it was in the dream was having the usual amount of trouble understanding how those things could both be true.
